Introduction

Alfa Laval is looking for a business leader to lead and drive the digitalization journey of Alfa Laval’s High Speed Separators. Gustav de Laval invented the milk separator in 1878 and this invention laid the foundation for what Alfa Laval is today; a leading global supplier of innovative engineered solutions. We are now looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic business leader to guide the digital transformation of Alfa Laval’s global Business Unit High Speed Separators (BU HSS) to the next level. By doing so we will continue the journey of Gustav de Laval to reinvent the separation technology and to implement new ways to market using connected and digital solutions.

BU HSS is active in all three divisions in Alfa Laval: Food & Water, Marine and Energy, and is contributing to improving the performance of our customers processes in a sustainable way in a wide variety of different applications.

Who you are

The Digitalization Manager role is a newly created position to define, drive and guide the digital transformation journey across the entire Business Unit. It will change our product and service offering, it will change the way we go to market, it will change the way we find new customers and it will change the way we support our customer during the total life cycle of using our separators.
The manager will work with a cross functional team of highly motivated people from the different disciplines in our Business Unit such as Research & Development, Sales, Service, Product management, Engineering & Supply, Automation development, etc.

Your main responsibilities:
* Collect the relevant customer and marketing insights and translate these insights into a digitalization roadmap.
* Develop, own and implement the digital roadmap in very close cooperation with our R&D, Sales, Service, Automation development, Engineering & Supply organization, etc.
* Inspire and lead an agile cross functional team to develop and introduce superior digital customer support solutions and connected solution to provide the following customer propositions:

        -maximized equipment uptime
        -minimized and predictable OPEX
        -optimized separation performance
        -improved sustainability by reducing power & water & chemicals consumption
        -deliver a superior customer support

Your personal profile & qualifications
* You have a University degree as Master of Science or equivalent
* Strong business acumen and experience with driving digital transformation programs preferable in a business to business environment.
* Experience in driving development projects related to data analytics, designing customer and user interface with AR and AI and a proven track record with agile methodologies such as rapid prototyping, design sprints and scrum
* Strong team leader skills to engage people to embrace change and explore new ways of doing business.
* Full professional English proficiency is a must and paired with excellent presentation skills
