Group Manager - Vehicle functions development "B"
Are you someone who sees data and visualizes applications out of it? Do you want to lead defining and developing vehicle capabilities and applications that give our customers great Uptime value?

We are looking for a leader for the group that develops embedded software applications that contribute to Uptime of our trucks.


So, Who are we?
Within the Global Technology area of Vehicle systems and Functions, we are working on some of the core truck functions. This is one of the groups in the technology area. The group is composed of teams that have abilities to specify, develop and test software functionality. We do this in collaboration with colleagues that work in the Predictive maintenance domain across the organization like Vehicle connectivity, Aftermarket Technology etc. So, a key to success is the ability to crack methods for sustainable collaborations.


About the role
In the role of Group manager, you will lead technology and people. Together with colleagues and group members, you are working to set up a shared vision regarding the technology mission. You are working to build the teams with capacity and capability as a whole, making the most of individual talents. You have the accountability towards the product in this group and thus are leading and taking an active part in the product development life cycle. In our daily business we deal with topics that require us to take different heights - from a big picture view of the technology strategy to a “zoom-in” on the smallest detail of operations. So, systems thinking is the way to go.

You have worked with software product in automotive domain and are looking to take an active part in an ongoing transformation. In order to succeed in your new role we think you have:
MSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics or similar
Leadership experience in People, Product or project
Excellent communication skills
Experience in embedded software development in automotive domain or other areas
