We are hiring a skilled mechanical engineer to join our start-up and lead product development creating innovations based on a new patented technology. The job will be incredibly exciting, with the opportunity to work on tasks ranging from patent applications to manufacturing parts to attending industry trade shows. You will also take a lead role in building the development team going forward and work closely with the founders.
As a person, you are highly creative, has a great sense of mechanics, eager to get the job done and are willing to travel. You will be able to schedule work from home as what you produce is more important than where it’s produced.


Head of Product Development Responsibilities
Create, plan and execute product road maps
Design, develop, build and improve prototypes
Simulate and analyze multi body designs dynamics
Work with customers on documenting product requirements
Implement development best practices together with customers
Assist with patent applications
Estimating budgets and project plans


Head of Product Development Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience working in the mechanical engineering field
Documented experience in CAD, CAM, and CAE software
Ability to conduct simulations and analyze test data with multi body dynamics software
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation
Fluent in Swedish and/or English
