Head of Storage & Material Handling

We are looking for a new Head of Storage and Material Handling for the Supply organization within Sourcing & Production. You will play a major role in setting an efficient way of working where continuous improvement is a natural part in every day's work and you will be part of a team where each member contributes with their individual experiences and skills to create a professional and dynamic environment!

Your role

Storage and Material Handling is one out of five section within the Supply organization. One of the main responsibilities of the section is to make sure we have an efficient structure, strategy and handling of articles for storage in order to supply production timely. The second main responsibility is to secure documentation, packaging and shipment of products to customers.

Main tasks:

* Empower and lead your employees through value driven leadership
* Create and ensure fulfilment of strategy and improvement for an efficient storage and material handling
* Ensure robust ways of working within the Section Storage and Material handling, and drive continuous improvements to ways of working
* Communication and cooperation with internal and external interfaces
* Strengthen the team for driving improved proactivity and precision on the deliveries from storage to manufacturing and out deliveries to customers

Your profile

Required skills:

* Academic degree or relevant working experience
* Minimum one year of proven ability and interest in leading, developing and challenging employees and teams
* Excellent Communication skills
* Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational actions
* Good skills in spoken and written Swedish and English

Desired skills:

* Experience from working with storage matters or material flow is a merit

You have the ability to identify each team member's strengths and contribution as well as different individual needs to make him or her perform on top of their potential. You are challenged and stimulated by shifting between a strategic and an operational focus and can prioritize when needed.

This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
