You will be part of HVDC within the Power Systems division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. Your responsibilities
Have a multifaceted role at HVDC Products Field Operations.
Being responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance and assessments of converter valves.
Supervising installations on site.
On-time delivery, reporting, reading drawings.
Sharing experiences and providing feedback from site.
Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
A high school diploma along with computer skills.
A background in electrical or mechanical engineering, is qualifying.
Experience from business travels and visiting sites.
Knowledge in our products.
Proficiency in English is a must, whereas additional languages are a plus.
Ability to take initiative, work hands-on, deliver in time and handle high-paced periods.
Ability and willingness to travel – far, often and on short notice.
Great interpersonal skills, learning focus and flexibility.
You are a natural leader and set a good example – both on and off sites, especially in putting safety first.
