Do you want to establish and manage a group of field engineers and technicians within the underwater domain? In Service Support, ISS - within Business Unit Underwater Systems, are growing and looking to hire a manager to the section support. We offer an exciting role in our work to expand and secure the customer's support and availability of their products.



Your role

As a manager at section support you have an important role in managing the work in how to provide world class service to maintain our customer's operational ability. You will be managing a number of engineers and technicians and have line management responsibility for their development, comfort and environment in order for them to do their work in an efficient and proper way. The role include many stakeholders mainly with customers, program- product and project managers, engineering, technicians, sourcing and production departments.



Your staff may be located at some or several of our sites in Linköping, Motala and Karlskrona.

You report to the Head of ISS and will be part of the management team at ISS and work together in related issues for all the BU in both short and long term. The location for this position is Linköping, business travels are required both within Sweden and internationally.





Your profile

We are looking for you who have an informal way and ability to gain trust within the organization. You have a well-developed business sense and focus on operative day-to-day work as well as having the ability to work strategic with a helicopter view. You are driven by the challenge to lead changes where your ability to listen, engage and communicate will be used.

You need to have several years' experience as manager in a high tech organization. It´s a merit if you have experience in after sales and customer support, military requirements, maritime installations etc.



What you will be a part of

ISS are growing! The service portfolio provides maintenance planning, technical analyses/investigations, user documentation, training, preventive and corrective maintenance. However we are now increasing the portfolio to include technical and operational support to a higher level but also establish operational services and demonstrations.
We are located in Linköping, Motala and Karlskrona while we see an increased cooperation within the business unit with the sites in Fareham, UK and Ålborg, DK.



The section consist of four persons who support our customers, projects and product engineers maintaining products at our customers such as; underwater sensors, torpedo, sea mine and depth charge weapon systems, underwater remotely and autonomous vehicle system.
