Measuring Technician

We are looking for a Measuring Technician to strengthen our Quality team with a resource for   CMM-measuring and incoming inspection.

As a Measuring Technician, you will work with inspection and measuring of incoming material such as complete couplers, sub-assemblies and single components. The job will also involve inspection and measuring of non-conforming products and items for tests and product development. Measuring is performed both manually with hand-held tools and in the CMM measuring machine. Calibration of in-house equipment and tools is also part of the work tasks.

You will be placed in Vika, Falun and report to Quality Manager DCSE.

The successful candidate will have the following profile

Education & Job experiences:


• Degree from Upper secondary school
• Forklift license
• Good technical understanding and experience from industrial production, knowledge of both machining and assembly is desirable
• Experience of hand-held measuring tools
• Good skills in drawing interpretation
• Good skills in geometric dimensioning and tolerances is advantageous
• Experience of CMM-measuring is advantageous

 

Personal skills:


• Good technical understanding with skills to deliver precise work results
• Team orientated and service-minded with good interpersonal skills and cooperation with colleagues and other departments
• Well organized and highly motivated for the job and with an open attitude
• Good knowledges in spoken and written English and Swedish
