Operations Manager - EIT Manufacturing
Full-time position at EIT Manufacturing HQ in Paris

About the position
The position is about maintaining the EIT Manufacturing infrastructure - recording, monitoring, supporting and reporting on the progress of the activities that EIT Manufacturing financially supports in Europe.

Key Accountabilities
. Maintain and expand the IT infrastructure of EIT Manufacturing
o EIT Manufacturing IntraNet and online project submission
o Office 365 suite, including Skype for business
o Community collaboration tool
o Trouble-shooting website and other IT applications
. Set up a continuous improvement process for the EIT Manufacturing IT infrastructure
. Proactively engage with teams that are leading EIT Manufacturing projects and ensure timely reporting on progress, financial, and performance matters
. Maintain EIT Manufactruing KPI dashboards
. Implement processes, including use of IT tools, that help project teams and the EIT Manufacturing organisation have full overview of project progress and performance
. Support the analysis of project related data to support portfolio management
. Support the internal contracting procedures between the EIT Manufacturing headquarters and the partners delivering the project portfolio
. Spot risks and impediments and help Activity Leaders and Functional Directors to overcome them
. Support in compiling the annual Business Plan of EIT Manufacturing
. Support in compiling the Annual Cost and Performance Report of EIT Manufacturing
. Select the necessary tools for the tasks above (both for recording and reporting)


Qualifications
. University degree in Business Administration or Computer Science with a minimum of 5 years experience with similar and/or relevant tasks.

Skills and expertise:
. Process-oriented with attention to detail and able to best combine analytical thinking with creativity
. Outstanding communication skills verbally and in writing. Excellent command of the English language is mandatory. Additional European languages a plus
. Motivated to drive continuous improvement based on sound analysis
. A team player who understands the importance of team work in an international environment with the ability to convey detailed as well as holistic information verbally or in written form
. Independent and trustworthy, able to embrace remote interactions with an extended number of parties, including partners and the management of EIT Manufacturing
. Organized, proactive, service-oriented, capable of multi-tasking
. Expert user of Computer tools such as Office tool suite, especially Excel
. Experience in project management (and relevant tools). Analytics or data visualization tools is a plus
. Knowledge of financial rules of Horizon 2020 and of European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) is a plus

Location
The role location will be Paris (France), with occasional travel to the CLCs and other stakeholders.

Reporting
The Operations Manager will report to the COO of EIT Manufacturing.
