Key accountabilities:
As our new R&D Manager Antimicrobial you will have the global R&D responsibility for the continuous evaluation and improvement of the commercial, technical and operational performance of the AM product portfolio and thereby contributing to the Global R&D strategy.
You will be a part of the management team, leading a team of direct reports, ensure the communication, implementation and execution of strategy and KPIs, as per KPI dashboard, and business targets within the area.
Deliver project results in time and budget and in accordance with Mölnlycke processes.
Actively support project management in setting realistic goals and realize total project outcome.
Responsible to actively support in driving continuous alignment with relevant functions.
Lead, coach and develop the respective R&D team in own organization with focus on delivering expected outcomes in line with our values and principals.
Identify and perform technical assessments and due diligence of new technologies based on commercial and technological needs.
Adher to global budget process and decides on allocation of budget.
Responsible for the alignment with partnering business and support functions to create seamless interfaces and collaborations and improves processes to ensure enabling of business objectives.
Manage the product and service life cycles.
Accountable for execution of R&D part of Due diligence activities as needed and agreed by ELT and franchise.
Accountable for the R&D assessment of selection of development partners and suppliers in cooperation with operations in accordance with global policies and processes.
Responsible to actively contribute to the strategy of the respective business area based on customer insights and commercial objectives within their respective product portfolio group
Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, life science or equivalent
Proven track record of experiences in bioburden reduction, antimicrobial and sterile medical products and/or wound infection management
Proven high performance behaviors and leadership skills, experience from leadership roles.
Cross-functional and cross-cultural working skills
3 year's proven track record of leading Research and Development activities and/ or team
3 years' experience with medical device industry
Preferable experienced in development and registration of products in accordance with class III MDR regulations, FDA registrations and/or pharamceuticals
