To become successful, you will build and develop our team focusing on Measurement Technologies and Innovation. Your main tasks will be to plan and drive technology studies, enable collaborations with external partners, secure that projects are delivered on time to the right Cost and Quality as well as developing both the individual team members and the team. You will be expected to actively participate in setting the team strategy and making sure it is being implemented in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Your responsibility will be to lead the team of Specialist Engineers. This will involve individual development, competence mapping and setting the team strategy. You will manage one or more smaller projects by securing scope, budget, plan and delivery. The focus of the team is to drive technology studies and de-risk our product development projects from a technology point before we enter the development phase. You will be working with continuous improvement and develop strong collaborations between partners and other Danaher Companies as well as being the centre point for communication in regard to Technology, Innovation and Competitor benchmarking. You will be expected to travel at least 10% of your time as we frequently collaborate with other Danaher Companies.
Qualifications
MSc./Ph.D in Engineering or Physics with 10+ years of working experience in measurement technologies, or similar
Knowledge in Haematology, Point of Care testing, market trends, competitor benchmarking and strategy work will be useful
Proven track-record of solid technical knowledge where you have participated in feasibility studies and product development projects delivering successful solutions to end-customers
Used to drive and setup University collaborations
Project Management 5+ years
Team Management 5+ years
Minimum of 5+ years with product development of integrated Hardware and Software for measurement systems
Experience from regulatory standards for Medical Technology and Design Control is a clear advantage
Visual Management, Risk Management, Budgeting, Problem solving, Project Planning, Resource Management etc.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing is important.

You are a natural leader who stand up for your team and someone people will follow. In difficult situations you keep calm and work methodically towards a solution together with the team. As communication with external partners will be frequent, good communication skills in English and experience from multi-cultural collaborations is necessary. An analytical and strategic mind-set as well as a keen interest for people development is also very important to be successful.
