This is a high-profile position with overall responsibility and management of major R&D projects, both internal and in partnership with industry. Projects are multidisciplinary including physics, mechanics, electronics and software engineering with high levels of uncertainty and many dependencies. The projects typically also include stakeholder involvement at different levels and with different interests and expectations.

The position is placed at Excillum headquarter in Kista, Stockholm. The team consists of world-class engineers and scientists developing and manufacturing X-ray sources.

Most important tasks:

- Outline project plans with milestones and deliverables
- Identify constraints, assumptions and key success factors
- Status reports and result-oriented follow-up
- Lead cross-functional team of talented engineers and scientists assigned to the project

Qualifications:

- Solid experience from successfully delivering projects in hightech industry in an international setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about leading and partnering with others
- M.Sc. in Engineering
